The BEST second hand bookshops ever! I have spent ages looking for a copy of Wizard’s First Rule by Terry Goodkind to replace my copy that was appropriated by a friend somewhere along the line. The problem was that I wanted, nay, needed the original colour cover to match the rest of the books on my shelf. I think I spent at least 5 years looking for a copy. At last I’ve found it!
The Rosebank branch has an amazing collection of Sci Fi and Fantasy titles, most of them in a reasonably good condition and with pricing that is much more reasonable than other second hand bookstores.
While I was there I tried my best to exercise a modicum of self-control… I ended up only buying three books - a LOT of self-control on my part!
We shall all eagerly await the 8th of January 2013! Can’t wait to read A Memory of Light, book 14 of The Wheel of Time. I definitely think that Brandon Sanderson is going to make this last one epic!

Update:
I think this is the original, inspired by this.
My newest book! Super awesome :) The short stories are really brilliant. This is a new Gollancz publication, but my nearest Exclusive Books only ordered one copy because it was a bit pricey - definitely worth it for me though! I made sure I reserved that copy ‘til pay day!
On Soundcloud, the user ‘africandope’ created a space for listeners and readers to preview the soundtrack to acclaimed South African novelist Lauren Beukes’ new novel “Zoo City”. You can buy the digital Zoo City Soundtrack, and the soundtrack to Lauren’s previous novel “Moxyland” on the African Dope Store.
Has anyone read Zoo City by South African author Lauren Beukes? It won the Arthur C. Clarke award this year. My mom bought it on an Exclusive Books special offer and she says it is difficult to follow at times. I have yet to read it. Currently my Publishing Honours is taking up all of my time. I’m having way too much fun with this Android Tumblr app though!
